Lifetime Learning are pleased to have collaborated with InterNations London Volunteer Group to organise this event. Any remaining proceeds will help to support Lifetime Learning’s Women in Enterprise Project.
Lifetime Learning is a UK registered charity that provides free training to disadvantaged people in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The aim of our charity is to improve their knowledge and skills to acquire general educational success and sustainable employment.
We are pleased that we are organising this project with Women’s Platform UK.
Project Name: Women in Enterprise
Project Aim: A 6 week programme that will equip 15 women who are either unemployed or aspirational to support with the development of their confidence and skills to create their own enterprise. They will be assisted and supported by 15 care leavers and claimants in their journey in turning their ideas into reality. If women set up businesses at the same rate as men, the UK would have an additional one million entrepreneurs (Source: greatbusiness.gov.uk).
